Strong in more ways than one!
My name is Kat and I am one of Heather's
clients. Before I met Heather, I felt that I was in
halfway decent shape, and I could do my own strength training every
now and then, and I'd be cool. Hm! Did that ever change
once I started working with "the Sarge!" You know when you get
to that point and you think "I couldn't possibly do one more rep!" ?
When you work out with Heather, you realize that you can do so much
more than you think you can. She motivates you to excel and be
your best - she is so positive and encouraging in a very
straightforward way. She knows how to train you safely,
yet powerfully. Now, since I have been with her, I feel
so much stronger in my body and in my outlook on life. I walk
more proud, I look at the definition in my shoulders, or my legs, or
wherever it's developed and I think "hey! that's really me!" and I

A TESTIMONIAL from a true believer! About two years ago upon assessment of my physical well being, I realized even though I was religiously coming to the gym and working out 4 days a week, that I was about 15 pounds heavier than I wanted to be. To compound things, I had just hit one of those magical age milestones and my golfing friends were starting to hit the ball almost as far as I was. Both these situations were unacceptable – something had to be done! A colleague of mine had mentioned she was working out with the “Sarge” and that if I ever considered personal training that I should talk to Heather. Once I made the commitment to so do something differently I met with Heather – instantly I knew we would click. We mapped out my weight loss and strength related goals and the journey began. The twice-weekly strength training sessions became part of my routine. Heather also introduced me to alternative cardio options for the other two gym days. In a very short time, my strength improved and my physique began to change. The “Sarge” provided me with a nutritional plan, which I originally half heartedly incorporated into my lifestyle. What was scary was that she knew I wasn’t fully committing to the new eating regime…and although she didn’t lecture me…she made it known to me that I wouldn’t get the maximum results until I made this final change. And of course, she was right! That’s one thing you’ll learn very quickly, the “Sarge” is always right! She knows her stuff! I’m happy to say that once I finally embraced “clean” eating, I reached my weight goals and have maintained them for almost a full year. I’m as strong as I’ve ever been. My golf friends now ooh and aahh on how long I’m hitting the ball. I’ve not got energy to burn…and have taken up running as a hobby, with two 10K races now under my belt. All of this is thanks to Heather. Our work sessions are always interesting, challenging and ever changing. I’m constantly amazed at how the “Sarge” is able to safely push me to the limit without ever going too far. She is so focused and in tune with my capabilities that I have the utmost confidence in her instruction. Heather is truly a professional and her passion for personal training is undeniable.
